VACANCY IN THE PARISH
The PCC had a good Section 11 Meeting last week at which they dealt with the statutory business, including:
The Parish Profile was finalised. This will help to inform the Bishop and Patrons in their search for a new Vicar for St Mary’s, and will be distributed to candidates.
Two Parish Representatives were appointed, who are Elsie Points and Catherine McArdle. They will be responsible for meeting a possible new Vicar and agreeing the appointment.
The Section 12 Meeting of the PCC with Canon Oakley, Bishop Pete, and others will be on Thursday 26th January.
ST MARY'S 2011 ROOF APPEAL
As you will know, over the last few months we have suffered several serious thefts of lead from the church roof, leading to an immense amount of damage which will require up to £50,000 to repair.

There has been worship here at St.
Mary's since the year 938. It is home to
the ancient shrine of Our Lady of
Willesden, and to the Holy Water of
Willesden which flows underneath the
church and is freely available to be taken
away.
We maintain a daily pattern of
services including a daily Eucharist,
Morning and Evening Prayer.

Today we are delighted to welcome Canon Mark Oakley who is representing our Patrons at St Paul’s Cathedral. He joins us to preside and preach, and to get to know us at St Mary’s.

St Mary’s Children
