THE EPIPHANY OF THE LORD- The Revelation Of Christ To The World
We are delighted that Fr Daniel Humphreys from St Matthew’s will join us at St Mary’s on Tuesday as we celebrate the Feast of the Epiphany.
This is a major celebration in the life of the Church as we join the Wise Men who praised the Christ Child and offered their gifts; gold for a king, frankincense for God and myrrh as a sign of burial. These gifts look forward to the great mystery of Easter, the feast that demonstrates God’s overflowing love for the world. We join all the people of the world in worshipping the infant King of the Jews.
