Your Responsibilities
Lateness
The Nursery closes at 6 pm and our Nursery Staff are only paid up to that time. If you are late picking up your child on any day, a fee of £5 for every 5 minutes you are late will be added to your weekly fees.
Meals
If you are going to bring your child in late but in time for lunch, please inform the Nursery by 10:30 am.
Clothing
All children enjoy messy play, so we have aprons for their use. However, parents should note that their children may still get grubby, so please do not send them to the Nursery in their best clothes.
You should supply a spare set of clothes just in case.
Please send your child to Nursery in easy fitting clothes and shoes. Please mark your child’s clothes clearly with the name.
Jewellery
We take no responsibility for any jewellery worn by children.
We suggest that no jewellery is worn to the Nursery.
Sickness
If your child is unwell, please telephone the Nursery to let us know what the situation is. This is very important and useful to us and to other parents if there are illnesses such as chicken pox in the Nursery. Please keep a child at home for the first two days of taking antibiotics.
We can give medicines to the children only if parents sign for these in the Medicines Book. There is a list of exclusions on the notice board for parents’ attention.
No Smoking
There is no smoking in or around the Nursery.
